So you can borrow video games from the library now??? YES.

The New Orleans Public Library is proud to announce its newest collection: Video Games!

To debut our new collection, we will be having an evening of gaming on National Gaming Day @ your library (a nationwide event) on Saturday, November 14. The event will be held at the Mid-City Library (330 N. Carrollton Ave., 596-2654) from 5 – 7 pm. We will have multiple gaming stations set up, and will be providing games such as Mario Kart, Rock Band 2, Dance Dance Revolution, Madden NFL 10, Street Fighter 4, and more, including board games! If you want to bring your game controller from home for multiplayer games, please do so. We will be serving FREE pizza and other refreshments to help keep your energy levels up. Gaming Night is open to all ages.

More More More! ...behind the cut, including full list of games available for play at Gaming Night, as well as more information about the collectionCollapse )
